Asbestos Jointing Material

Compressed Asbestos Jointing Sheet K100 is made from asbestos fibre, NBR Binder & heat-resisting material, compressed into a thick jointing sheet. Mainly used in equipment working with water, steam etc. and a sealing material in the joints of pipeline.

Medium: Water, Steam, Low Concentrated Acid & Alkali Solvent
Max. Internal Pressure: 15kgf/cm2
Max. Operating Temperature: 300ºC

The suitability of a gasket material for an application is dependent upon a multiplicity of factors such as Medium, Pressure, Temperature, Flange, Bolt and Process Control. The max.temperature and pressure values cannot define the suitability for application. It’s always advisable to consider these factors when selecting a material for a given application.
